Flu Immunisation Campaign

It was estimated that there were 11,000 deaths attributable to flu in the 2012/2013 season.

Patients at risk of complications from flu include those aged 65 and over, children and adults in clinical ‘at risk’ groups (such as those with asthma, diabetes, heart disease) and pregnant women.

Children age 2, 3 and 4 years are also invited to have the flu nasal spray this year.

Our receptionists can arrange your ‘flu jab any time between 9-5pm Monday to Friday and will ask a clinician who will fit you in for your immunisation between patients.

Alternatively, local chemists can also provide flu immunisations and are open on Saturdays.
